摘  要：区域经济在当今社会一直是一个热点话题，本文以湖南为实例对湖南的区域经济进行研究。文章从区域差异是各种因素在经济增长中的综合表现出发来论述湖南的区域经济发展现状，再讨论湖南区域经济差异的测度分析，然后从湖南区域经济发展存在的问题着手提出引导湖南区域经济向好发展的对策建议，最后得出结论，湖南像其他省份一样存在区域差异，我们应该勇敢面对，从而缩小我省的区域经济差异使我省的经济向好向快发展。
