摘  要：将湘江流域长沙段分为坪塘、黑石铺、杜甫江阁、三汊矶、霞凝港和丁字镇六个断面，并分别对其COD（化学需氧量）、BOD5（五日生化需氧量）、重金属镉、砷、汞等进行水质监测评价。根据各断面的监测情况来看，水质量污染指数都在11-100之间，属于严重污染。整体来说湘江流域长沙段水质量不容乐观，其污染原因主要有：工业废水、生活污水、医疗废水、农业生产废水、采砂污染和突发性污染事故等。保护我们的母亲河刻不容缓，需要政府、企业、市民的共同努力。

Monitoring and Assessment on Water Environmental Quality in Xiangjiang River in Changsha
Abstract：We divided the water quality of Xiangjiang River in Changsha into six sections which were Pingtang, Heishipu, Dufu Pavilion, Sanchaji, Xianinggang and Dingzi Town. Then gave an  evalution about their COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) , BOD5 (Biochemical Oxygen Demand of Five Days) and other heavy metals such as cadmium, arseni, mercury and so on. According to the monitoring results, the water pollution indexes were between 11 and 100, and Xiangjiang River was heavily polluted. All in all, the water quality was not good, and the main reasons were industrial waste water, sewage and medical waste water, agricultural waste water, sand mining pollution and sudden pollution accident. It was high time for us to protect our mother river, and there is no doubt that the government, enterprises and citizens should try their best to do something.
